Tim Adedeji

  • Tim is an accomplished entrepreneur and seasoned financial professional with a wealth of international experience across a diverse range of asset classes and sectors. His broad expertise stems from holding multiple positions in FCA-regulated functions across M&A, Institutional Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives at several of the world's most respected financial institutions.

Tim’s Journey began at the UK merchant bank Singer & Friedlander, headquartered in London. As a Trade Finance Analyst, he was responsible for analysing financial statements, calculating credit risk, and crafting innovative trade financing solutions using a variety of banking instruments, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Bills of Exchange.

Capitalising on his robust foundation in the banking sector, Tim sought to augment his expertise through advanced academic pursuits. He embarked on both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, during which he successfully balanced his academic endeavours with real-world experience. Tim remained closely connected to the commercial sector, securing highly competitive investment banking placements at the Bank of America and Deutsche Bank London. This blend of theory and practice shaped his comprehensive understanding of the financial and market landscape.

Tim’s next step took him to the Investment Banking Division of Société Générale, where he split his time between London and Paris. As part of the Derivatives department, Tim specialised in structuring Equity Derivative solutions for Liability Driven Investments (LDI) and co-authored several insightful LDI articles published by the bank.

His journey continued at Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division, where he honed his skills in corporate finance, company valuation, and complex financial modelling by rotating between Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM).

Tim was subsequently hired by Sanford C. Bernstein’s Sales and Trading department, where he focused on Cross-Industry Pan European Equities. In this role, he was responsible for analysing the firm's Equity Research product to generate astute market insights, trade ideas, and investment recommendations for a variety of Long/Short institutional investors, primarily focusing on UK Hedge Funds.

Drawing on his wealth of knowledge, experience, and industry contacts, Tim ventured out from Sanford C. Bernstein to build a portfolio of private investment projects ultimately laying the foundation for ADE CAPITAL.

  • Tim holds a BA (Hons) in Industrial Economics and a Masters in Corporate Strategy and Governance from the University of Nottingham.
